Crawl Space Waterproofing

When you notice a mildew type odor, water vapors on windows, evidence of mold growth on or inside your upstairs floor air vents, sagging in floors upstairs of your home due to moist floor joists, windows difficult to raise is a good indication of a wet crawl space. A wet, dark with no air circulation in a crawl space presents a breeding ground for mold and mildew. Installing a crawl space waterproofing system is the solution. Our crew team require a minimum of 3.5’-4’ feet of crawl space height workspace to install our system.

Sump Pumps & Back-Up Systems

A sump pump is installed in a hydrostatic pit liner with cover, which collects the ground water as it rises into our system. When the water level in the pit reaches the main pump’s float level, the pump is activated to discharge the water out of the pit and away from the foundation by way of the discharge line. Sump pumps are installed when the property is on flat land without natural gravity flow available. We highly recommend a water powered back up system for your basement and peace of mind during a power outage or your main pump fails to operate. Battery back-up units are also available but do require maintenance every 3-years.

Why Waterproofing is Important

Waterproofing is essential for homes and buildings to prevent water intrusion and damage. The accumulation of water in basements, crawlspaces, or other areas of a structure can lead to mold growth, structural damage, and poor air quality. Waterproofing helps to keep the indoor environment dry and healthy, which can lead to a reduced risk of respiratory problems and allergies. It also prevents damage to the foundation and walls of the building, which can be costly to repair. Waterproofing is an essential investment for any property owner as it provides long-term protection and peace of mind.
